FCCIB held its Annual General Meeting on 20th June at Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq
The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bahrain, FCCIB, held its Annual General Meeting on Monday 20th June at Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq. The event was attended by guest speaker H.E. Mr. Khalid Humaidan, Chief Executive, Economic Development Board (EDB), representatives of the French Embassy and members of FCCIB.
In his welcoming speech, Mr. Jean-Christophe Durand, President of FCCIB, highlighted the performance of the Chamber and its ranking by Commercial Turnover despite low resources making FCCIB among the most efficient French Chamber of Commerce & Industry worldwide.
Mrs. Rim Jalali, Executive Director of FCCIB presented FCCIB’s Activity Report showcasing the numerous services offered by the Chamber, presenting the strategy for the upcoming years and thanking FCCIB’s long-time partners, annual sponsors and all the members for their continued support.
During the networking dinner following the AGM, H.E. Mr. Khalid Humaidan, Chief Executive of Economic Development Board (EDB), gave an overview of the economy of the Kingdom of Bahrain presenting its diversification and advantages. His intervention was followed by a lively Q&A session, during which H.E. Mr. Khalid Humaidan mentioned FCCIB as an important partner of EDB in its strategy for the development of economic and business ties between France and Bahrain.
