FCCIB Celebrates 10th Anniversary with a Memorable Gala Dinner
✨ On Tuesday, 27th May 2025, the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bahrain (FCCIB) celebrated its 10th anniversary with a prestigious Gala Dinner at Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa, under the theme “Embracing the Past, Honoring the Future.”
The event gathered over 250 distinguished guests, including government officials, ambassadors, business leaders, entrepreneurs, and members of the French-Bahraini business community, to commemorate a decade of shared achievements and economic cooperation. Since its founding in 2015, FCCIB has become a vital platform for bilateral partnerships and business growth in the Kingdom.
The evening opened with a poetic performance by French illusionist Marc Dossetto, accompanied by dancers Melissa Mekdad and Julien Rossin, setting the tone for an inspiring and magical night.
🎤 Highlights from the Speeches:
Mrs. Rim Jalali, Managing Director of FCCIB, reflected on the Chamber’s evolution and paid tribute to its founding members. Today, FCCIB proudly represents over 80 companies and 230 professionals.
Mr. Jean-Christophe Durand, President of FCCIB, shared the Chamber’s vision to strengthen its role in identifying French business partners for Bahrain and contributing more actively to both Team France and Team Bahrain.
H.E. Ms. Eman Al-Doseri, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, highlighted the strength of the France-Bahrain economic relationship and praised the FCCIB Booster initiative as a key support mechanism for business.
H.E. Mr. Éric Giraud-Telme, Ambassador of France to Bahrain, reaffirmed the integral role of FCCIB within Team France Export, alongside the Embassy and Business France.
A video message from H.E. Mr. Laurent Saint-Martin, France’s Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and French Nationals Abroad, congratulated FCCIB on a decade of achievement and emphasized the importance of continued business diplomacy and strategic cooperation.
The celebration also featured a tribute video from former FCCIB Board Members and a symbolic cake-cutting ceremony uniting past and present leadership on stage.
Guests enjoyed a gourmet three-course French dinner, luxury raffle draws, and vibrant performances — all within a joyful and elegant French atmosphere.
