FCCIB successfully hosted an exclusive French Gourmet Tasting Event on Wednesday, 7th May at the Residence of France in Bahrain
Organised by the French Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Bahrain, the event was made possible with the kind support of the French Embassy in Bahrain and in collaboration with France Originelle, who facilitated the participation of a remarkable delegation of French producers.
H.E. Eric Giraud Telme, Ambassador of France to Bahrain, and his spouse, welcomed the guests, leading decision-makers from Bahrain’s food & beverage, hospitality, and retail sectors, who had the opportunity to meet with French producers and taste a wide variety of high-quality products, reaffirming France’s reputation for culinary excellence.
The featured brands included:
- Famille Perronneau (Apidis): premium honey and beehive products
- Franck Deville: refined macarons
- Panery and Cypher: non-alcoholic beverages
- Les Primeurs d’Issy (Rungis): exceptional fruits and vegetables
- The Food Company: gourmet halal cold cuts

- Sill Group (Le Gall, Primel, Malo): traditional dairy, butter, and pastry
- Cookler: innovative food service solutions
This exclusive tasting was a unique platform to promote premium French food products and explore new import opportunities in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
