NBB names winners of Al Watani savings scheme

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has announced the winners of its Al Watani Savings Scheme for July.

The winners, who each won $25,000 in cash, were Khairiya Hassan Khalil Alaskari, Ali Isa Saleh Ahmed, Suad Makki Jassim Burni and Jalila Mohsin Al Alawi.

“We are delighted to be offering competitive year-long cash prizes to our customers through our Al Watani savings scheme,” said NBB head of retail banking Subah Abdullatif Al Zayani.

“We look forward to announcing our year-end Dream prize soon, which is set to be the largest in the bank’s history.”

Head of customer proposition and liabilities Manal Meshal said: “Al Watani allows savings accounts and Savewave youth accounts to enter the monthly and semi-annual draws, providing customers maintain an average monthly balance of BD50.

“Customers with a minimum average monthly balance of BD1,000 take part in our all year-long prizes in addition to the life-changing mid-year grand prize, as well as the year-end Dream prize.”
