FCCIB organized a webinar with H.E. Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Industry, Commerce & Tourism of the Kingdom of Bahrain, as guest speaker, on the occasion of FCCIB’s 5th Annual Members Meeting (Online), on Monday, 22nd June 2020. The webinar was attended by more than 60 members of the Chamber.
During the webinar, moderated by Mr. Jean-Christophe Durand, President of FCCIB, H.E. Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani highlighted the unified efforts of Bahrain and France to enhance economic cooperation between the two countries, and the necessity to enable the private sector to play its role in promoting exchange between France and Bahrain. His Excellency praised the bilateral relations between France and Bahrain and the mutual efforts put into developing a successful economic cooperation framework. H.E. Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani’s intervention was followed by a lively Q&A, during which FCCIB Members asked questions regarding the evolution of the current situation in Bahrain and specific topics related to Hospitality & Tourism, Industrial and Retail sectors.
The webinar was followed by the FCCIB Annual Members Meeting, animated by Mrs. Rim Jalali, Executive Director of FCCIB, who presented the results and achievements of the French Chamber for the year 2019, and the first half of 2020 to company members’ representatives. 2019 was a fruitful year for FCCIB, and even though 2020 has been challenging so far, there should be a tendency for a brighter future in 2021, with all FCCIB projects already in the pipeline.
