Investment opportunities ‘vital to create new jobs’
Deputy King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa met Bechtel Corporation chairman and chief executive Brendan Bechtel at Gudabiya Palace yesterday.
He affirmed the advanced levels of co-operation between the private sectors of Bahrain and the US based on the agreements and memoranda of understanding signed between the two countries.
HRH Prince Salman highlighted the importance of creating investment opportunities that contribute to strategic collaboration and create jobs that benefit the kingdom’s citizens.
He noted the co-operation between the kingdom and Bechtel Corporation across various vital projects.
HRH Prince Salman reiterated the kingdom’s unwavering commitment to providing an environment that nurtures development, encompasses all the necessary elements for success, and attracts investment, thereby solidifying Bahrain’s investment position in the region.
Mr Bechtel expressed his gratitude for HRH Prince Salman’s commitment to furthering Bahrain-US investment collaboration and wished the kingdom further progress.
Isa Bin Salman Education Charitable Trust board of trustees chairman and Labour Fund (Tamkeen) board of directors chairman Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and several senior officials attended the meeting.
