Iconic French tearoom opens Bahrain branch
The iconic tearoom Angelina Paris opened in Block 338, Adliya last night in the presence of members of the French Community, media and bloggers.
Inaugurated by Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the tearoom can accommodate 50 people offering signature pastries as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The second branch is planned toward the end of this year in The Avenues mall.
"Generations have gone by since the launch of the first Angelina and the elegant establishment has retained its fame over the years," said Angelina Worldwide Chief Executive Isabelle de Bardies.
"Many luminaries have crossed through its rooms, including Proust and Coco Chanel. Today, Angelina Represents a brand of timeless luxury and symbolises the French art of living around the world, which we are proud to be bringing to Bahrain in Collaboration with Kingdom Gourmet".
