FCCIB hosted a successful Conference & Networking Luncheon with the National Bureau for Revenue's Chief Executive, Mrs. Rana Faqihi

FCCIB, the French Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Bahrain, successfully hosted an exclusive Conference & Networking Luncheon on Monday April 28th, featuring Mrs. Rana Faqihi, Chief Executive of the National Bureau for Revenue, as guest speaker.

🔹 After an introduction by FCCIB President, Mr. Jean-Christophe Durand, Mrs. Faqihi delivered a keynote speech: "From Establishment to Strategic Implementation: Introducing Bahrain’s Domestic Minimum Top-up Tax (DMTT) Approach."

🔹 During an insightful presentation, Mrs. Faqihi shared NBR’s strategic journey from its establishment in 2017 to the implementation of Bahrain’s DMTT. She highlighted the country’s commitment to collaborating closely with the private sector and positioning Bahrain as a key player in the global economy. She also outlined Bahrain’s legislative approach to the DMTT, as part of the broader global tax reform initiative led by the OECD and supported by over 140 countries.

🔹 The conference was attended by FCCIB Board Members, Members & guests; and concluded with a dynamic and interactive Q&A session.
