FCCIB organizes a conference to present Export Bahrain

The French Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Bahrain, FCCIB, organized a networking luncheon in cooperation with Export Bahrain, on 22nd of April at Downtown Rotana. The event was sponsored by Tamkeen and National Bank of Bahrain.

More than 40 attendees enjoyed the insightful conference delivered by Dr. Nasser Ali Qaedi, Chief Executive of Export Bahrain. Aligned with Bahrain’s Economic vision 2030, Export Bahrain has been launched as the first national export development initiative in the Kingdom of Bahrain that aims to support SME exports internationally. Export Bahrain works with a variety of local and international partners to provide exporters with promising opportunities in international trade and actively reduce barriers to access world markets.

Dr. Nasser Ali Qaedi shed light on the key export support opportunities  and highlighted the solutions offered in order to encourage Bahraini SME’S to export their products and service. Dr. Qaedi invited SME’S to take advantage of the solutions offered by Export Bahrain, in order to promote Bahraini products and services in international markets.

During the luncheon Export Bahrain announced its latest collaboration with Gulf Air Falcon Cargo which gives companies up to 40 per cent discount on their cargo exports.

On this occasion Dr. Qaedi mentioned that Export Bahrain is looking forward to working closely with FCCIB in order to develop the trade relations between France and Bahrain.

The event was opened by Mr. Jean-Christophe DURAND, President of FCCIB, who mentioned that Export Bahrain was a great initiative that will play a key role in developing the trade in general and particularly between Bahrain and France, and increase partnerships in both ways.

The conference was also attended by HE Mrs. Cecile LONGE, Ambassador of France to Bahrain, along with representatives from Export Bahrain, and Board Members and members of FCCIB.
