FCCIB organized a conference and networking Lunch with Bahrain EDB
A remarkable conference delivered by H.E. Khalid Humaidan, Chief Executive of Bahrain Economic Development Board, EDB, on the occasion of a networking luncheon on Monday, 2nd of March at Downtown Rotana, organized by The French Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Bahrain.
More than 50 attendees, among which H.E. Jérôme Cauchard, Ambassador of France to Bahrain, Mr. Jean Christophe Durand, President of FCCIB, Board members, members and guests of the Chamber and members of the Bahrain Businesswomen’s society enjoyed the presentation on the achievements of Bahrain EDB, with a total investment of $835 million in 2019, expected to create more than 6400 jobs in the coming 3 years, and the vision for the coming years.
Mr. Humaidan highlighted the main sectors of activity that Bahrain is focusing on to attract more investments: Financial services, Information and Communication Technologies, Manufacturing & Logistics, Real Estate & Tourism and Education & Healthcare.
H.E. Khalid Humaidan reasserted that Bahrain is working hard on being a very competitive market, one of the leading investment countries in the GCC and to attract new companies and more investors in non-oil sectors.
