Conference & Networking Luncheon with HE Shaikh Khalid Bin Humood Al Khalifa, CEO, BTEA
The French Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Bahrain organized a networking luncheon on 20th of February at Bahrain Conference Centre (Crowne Plaza Hotel).
More than 50 attendees enjoyed the insightful conference delivered by HE Shaikh Khalid Bin Humood Al Khalifa, CEO of Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) on the new tourism and exhibitions projects in the Kingdom. For this occasion, HE Shaikh Khalid Bin Humood Al Khalifa announced for the first time the figures of the tourism sector in Bahrain for 2018.
Mr. Yousef AlKhan, Director of Tourism Marketing & Promotions at Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority and Mr. Julien Garcia-Liscouët General Manager of Vatel Hospitality School in Bahrain, joined HE Shaikh Khalid Bin Humood, to present their activities and action plans.
The conference was followed by a dynamic Q&A session. Numerous topics were debated especially the strategy planned by BTEA to promote Bahrain as a touristic hub in the region.
The event was also the opportunity for FCCIB to launch the Hospitality, Tourism & Airline Committee, that will be chaired by The Ritz-Carlton General Manager, Bernard de Villele.
The meeting was attended by HE Mrs. Cécile Longé, Ambassador of France to Bahrain, Mr. Jean-Christophe Durand, the Board Members of FCCIB , Members of Bahrain Businesswomen Society as well as many other VIPs, members and guests.
