Conference & Networking Luncheon with H.E. Dr. Nasser Qaedi, CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA)
FCCIB, the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bahrain, organized a Conference & Networking Luncheon with H.E. Dr. Nasser Qaedi, CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), which took place on 6th December at The Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel.
Dr. Nasser Qaedi, CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) emphasized that Bahrain has created an appealing environment for investment in the tourism sector. Dr. Qaedi outlined the Kingdom of Bahrain's tourism strategy for 2022-2026, emphasizing the collaborative role of the Ministry of Tourism and the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority in leveraging the Kingdom's cultural and civilizational assets to attract tourists and investments.
Dr. Qaedi discussed the ongoing implementation of a new tourism sector development plan in collaboration with public and private sector partners. Highlighting the Kingdom's ties with France, Dr. Qaedi acknowledged numerous French projects and investments in the tourism sector. He emphasized the strong bilateral relations between Bahrain and the French Republic, particularly in tourism, commending the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bahrain for its role in promoting collaborative efforts across various levels and encouraging private sector tourism investments.
The conference was concluded by an insightful Q&A session and followed by a networking luncheon. The event took place in presence of representatives of the French Embassy in Bahrain, Mr. Jean-Christophe Durand, President of FCCIB, Mrs. Rim Jalali, Executive Director of FCCIB and members and guests of FCCIB.
