Saudi raises minimum wage for citizens to SAR4,000

Riyadh: Saudi's Human Resources and Social Development Ministry has announced the raise of its minimum wage for citizens by a third to SAR4,000 ($1,066).

The decision, which came into effect from yesterday onwards, will be applied for five months, a statement from the ministry said, without giving an exact date.
