New platform for Bahraini entrepreneurs
MANAMA: Bahrain’s entrepreneurs are being invited to a prestigious platform to meet global influencers and decision-makers.
Hosted by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, and Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, in partnership with Tamkeen, Pitch@Palace Bahrain 1.0 aims to connect entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses with potential supporters, including CEOs, influencers and investors.
The Duke of York founded Pitch@Palace in 2014 to provide a platform to amplify and accelerate the work of entrepreneurs.
The theme is innovation and technology, with applications welcomed from entrepreneurs in financial services, healthcare, ICT, logistics, manufacturing, real estate and tourism.
Twelve entrepreneurs will be selected to attend the Pitch@Palace Boot Camp in Bahrain in March. They will receive guidance on how to hone their pitch, as well as receive support with investment and introductions. They will give a three-minute pitch to an influential audience from the worlds of entrepreneurship, technology, media and investment at the event to be held on April 5 at the Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed Al Fateh Fort in Riffa.
Winners will be selected by an audience vote and invited to pitch at Pitch@Palace Global, which takes place at St James’s Palace in London in December.
All 12 entrepreneurs will join the growing Pitch@Palace Alumni network and receive ongoing support. To apply, visit www.pitchatpalacebahrain.com/apply/. Applications will close on March 18.
