New luxury hotel set to open in Seef

MANAMA: A new luxury hotel due to open in Bahrain this year will have a private beach and be located on the coast in Seef.Luxury

One&Only Seef will have 172 guest rooms, suites and villas as well as the first branch of London-born modern Chinese restaurant concept Hakkasan and Manko as well as retail options, making it a destination for both business and leisure travellers, said a statement.

Kerzner International Holdings and Bahraini firm Sevens Holding have agreed to develop and operate the resort.

“The GCC has always been an important destination for One&Only and we look forward to our international guests discovering the beauty of Bahrain,” said One&Only Resorts chief operating officer Philippe Zuber.

“One&Only Seef will celebrate Bahrain’s rich history and reflect the local culture with a design appeal to attract the contemporary traveller seeking a new level of ultra-luxury.”

Like all properties within the One&Only collection, One&Only Bahrain will place an emphasis on privacy with a variety of accommodation including private luxury villas and exclusive suites that are perfect for large families.

In addition, the resort will offer innovative programming for families with children whilst carefully preserving space for adults only. Guests will also have access to a host of unique sporting and entertainment facilities on-site.

“We are currently building a seasoned team to deliver an exceptional experience for our guests, when we open later this year,” said One&Only Seef general manager Jerome Colson.

Having previously been the hotel manager of One&Only Le Saint Géran, Mr Colson said he is “committed to developing a team that will provide the authentic and intuitive service that One&Only is known for”.

The promoters of the project said, “long known as one of the world’s most exclusive ultra-luxury resort collections, the One&Only Seef resort will introduce the ultimate collection of bespoke villas and select signature suites.”

Accommodations will include the Royal Suite, two three-bedroom Grand Pool Villas, two four-bedroom Grand Pool Villas and the two-bedroom Royal Penthouse.

“Guests will find their perfect holiday home for their experience, from those seeking the ultimate in privacy to families and friends seeking time together or for small corporate retreats,” the statement added.

“These ultra-luxury villas and suites will offer an endless array of “one and only” personalised amenities and services created exclusively for villa guests.

“An expertly trained team will look after guests’ every taste and whim.”
