Motor City backs top Gulf construction exhibition

MANAMA: Motor City, the leading commercial distributor in Bahrain, will be the Gulf Construction Expo 2017 sponsors for Plant and Machinery.

Organised by Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions (HCE), Gulf Construction Expo (formerly known as gulfBID) is the Northern Gulf’s showcase for the building and construction sector.

It is held annually under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.

The next edition of the show will be held from April 25 to 27 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Motor City’s senior general manager Dr Bijan Majidi and HCE managing director Jubran Abdulrahman signed the agreement confirming the former’s support for and participation in the event.

Motor City the sole distributor for Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI), the world’s largest shipbuilder and manufacturer of plant and machinery.

Hyundai product line up will form a major feature of the Motor City stand at Gulf Construction Expo.

The Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) brand offers wide range of hydraulic excavators, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, skid steer loaders and industrial vehicles which will be on display at Gulf Construction Expo.

“Our presence with Hyundai Heavy Industries product range at Gulf Construction Expo is an occasion to present last generation of construction and industrial vehicles to the key players of this industry,” said Dr Majidi.

“Plant and Machinery is the backbone of the construction sector,” said Mr Abdulrahman.

“Motor City’s support of this sector will highlight within Gulf Construction Expo the important part that Plant and Machinery plays in the construction and infrastructure projects in the region.

As organisers, we are excited that the products of one of world’s biggest construction equipment and manufacturer, Hyundai, will be at Gulf Construction Expo,” he added.
