GIF launches 2017 Virtual Exhibition
Manama: Gulf Industry Fair (GIF) has launched the 2017 Virtual Exhibition on its website – www.gulfindustryfair.com.
Held in February this year, the 10th edition of the three-day fair at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre attracted thousands of business visitors interacting with more than 90 exhibitors representing aluminium, steel and alloys, industrial processes and manufacturing, energy and environmental protection, ports, logistics and free trade zones, training for industry, industrial safety and security segments.
Organised by Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions (HCE), the fair is held annually under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
The Virtual Exhibition that is now live promotes Gulf Industry Fair 2017’s exhibitors through an online format.
It consists of the original exhibition floor plan which is embedded with video interviews of each exhibitor, the company e-profile, brochures and catalogues with direct links to the company’s website for further information.
“Gulf Industry Fair Virtual Exhibition is an innovative approach to give an extended market exposure to exhibitors; as well as allowing visitors to network with potential suppliers,” said HCE managing director Jubran Abdulrahman.
“The online format provides a wider reach for our exhibitors, who gain potential leads for another 150 days after the show,” he added.
The event witnessed a solid visitor turnout – from businessmen, decision-makers, government officials to industry specialists and professionals seeking latest technologies, services and products.
“Together with our digital partner, Fabric Digital Agency, we have created an online platform designed for the business visitor,” said HCE exhibitions director Ahmed Suleiman.
“The 2017 Virtual Exhibition will also be promoted through our global databases and by our various media partners.
“As Gulf Industry Fair 2018 is now in the booking stage; the Virtual Exhibition, the show’s social media pages and our e-newsletters will raise awareness for the GCC’s signature event for industrial development and innovation,” added Mr Suleiman.
Bookings are now open for Gulf Industry Fair 2018, scheduled to be held from February 6 to 8 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.
