Focus on technology
MANAMA: More than 100 research and marketing institutions from 18 countries have submitted applications to take part in a major conference on technologies to help the elderly and people with disabilities that takes place later this year.
The two-day International Assistive Technology Conference will be hosted under the theme "Techno No Handicap" on December 3.
It will be held under the patronage of Supreme Council for Youth and Sport first deputy chairman and Bahrain Disabled Sport Federation honorary president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
