French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bahrain, FCCIB,
Exploring Opportunities, Connecting Businesses
The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bahrain, FCCIB was officially registered in January 2015. It’s the 4th French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the GCC, after Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Kuwait.
In a near future, FCCIB will be part of the French Chambers of Commerce and Industry Abroad Network (CCI France International), which is one of the largest Business Network in the world with a combined membership base of more than 30,000 companies.
FCCIB policies are guided by a Board of 10 Directors responsible for all major decisions concerning the Chamber's strategy. It has a dedicated permanent office, now operational. The offices of FCCIB are located in YBA Kanoo Tower, in the Diplomatic Area.
FCCIB mission is to enhance the Business and Economic ties between France & Bahrain. The role of this Chamber will be to support and complement the current efforts made by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the French Embassy in Bahrain and the Economic Development Board, in order to promote the business relations between France and Bahrain.
Today, France is present in different sectors of Bahraini economic activity such as: industry, banking, transportation, retail, insurance, etc. FCCIB will facilitate and support the development of this presence and the level of bilateral trade.
FCCIB Members will be essentially French companies established in Bahrain and Bahraini companies willing to do or to develop their business with France. FCCIB will give all its Members the possibility of growing their businesses through a number of events, forums and networking opportunities that the Chamber will be organizing. It will also offer a range of services to French and Bahraini companies encouraging them to prospect and to set up businesses in Bahrain and / or France.
FCCIB will provide various publications, including newsletters, members' directory, and business guides offering a wealth of information to help promote the interests of the Franco-Bahraini business community and to provide extra visibility to our member companies.
The official launch of the FCCIB will take place during the launch ceremony on the 9th of December, at 8 pm at the Ritz Carlton Bahrain Hotel, with prominent Guest speakers.
