Daih awarded real estate developer licence

MANAMA: Daih Real Estate Development Company has obtained a real estate developer licence from the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA).

RERA, a regulatory body which oversees the real estate sector in Bahrain, awarded the licence to Daih in recognition of its commitment to fulfil new standards set by the authority, commensurate with highest international standards.

This is in addition to the company’s commitment to implement all legislation and regulations related to real estate development; especially Law 27 of 2017 concerning the promulgation of the Real Estate Sector Regulation Law.

Daih Real Estate Development Company chairman Akram Miknas stressed that achieving this licence was proof of the fruitful co-operation between the company and the Real Estate Regulatory Authority.

“We are committed to co-operating with RERA in achieving the common vision of both parties to further develop the real estate sector and promote economic growth and investment in Bahrain,” said Mr Miknas.

“Bahrain’s efficient and sustainable real estate market is attracting investors from the region and the world, making Bahrain the preferred destination for real estate investments in an internationally competitive real estate market.

“Through the promotion of investment and boosting stakeholders’ confidence, the Bahrain real estate market is building a stronger, more transparent and more efficient real estate ecosystem,” he said.

Daih was formed in 2007 as one of Promoseven Holding companies. It is now working on Diyar Al Khair project, the largest privately-owned affordable residential complex of its kind in Bahrain.
