Consumer Price Index: Inflation in Bahrain rose 0.7pc between January and February
MANAMA: Inflation in Bahrain rose 0.7 per cent between January and February, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
Meanwhile, the CPI for last month was up by 3.1pc compared to February last year, according to the Information and eGovernment Authority.
It said inflation in consumer prices for both January and February was up 2.9pc, compared with the same period in 2017.
The increase was attributed to a rise in the price of transportation, food and non-alcoholic beverages.
