BAS renews ISO certificate
MANAMA: Bahrain Airport Service (BAS) has renewed its ISO 17025 certification, which sets general technical requirements and quality management requirements, covering testing, legal requirements, safety and work environmental requirements, a statement said.
Aircraft engineering and maintenance department includes aircraft inspection after arrival at Bahrain International Airport and before taking off, as well as daily detection and repair of faults.
The continuous training and modern technology are the most important factors for the success of its aircraft engineering and maintenance department at BAS, the statement said.
The aviation engineering division of BAS is accredited by the European Aviation Safety Agency for aircraft maintenance, as well as eight other regulatory approvals from Oman, the UAE and Turkey.
