Winter Chalet opens at Ritz-Carlton

Festive tabletop fondue fun was on the menu at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain as it reopened its magical crowd-favourite Christmas beach pop-up restaurant, the Winter Chalet, to members of the media.

Whether a fun rendezvous with family or a picture-perfect evening with friends, the venue aims to replicate the warm and cozy atmosphere of a traditional Alpine cottage in winter.

Stylishly designed, it comes complete with fireplace, the decadent smell of roasted chestnuts, mouthwatering Raclette, sumptuous schnitzel, and a generous helping of fondue, alongside a good selection of festive beverages.

“A magical experience awaits, whisking guests on a winter holiday without leaving the island,” said general manager Bernard de Villèle.

The festive pop-up is led by chef de cuisine Alexis Knecht and banquet director Pervaiz Iqbal.

The secret garden-themed Winter Chalet, adorned with pine cone chandeliers, Christmas berries, wooden dining tables and thousands of festive lights, is open from Tuesdays to Saturdays, 4pm to 10pm.
