Welfare for pensions under BD1500 proposed
Pensioners getting less than BD1,500 as monthly pensions could be eligible for social welfare under a new parliamentary proposal.
The proposal is spearheaded by five MPs led by Parliament chairwoman Fouzia Zainal.
It comes following emergency reforms to pension rules that have seen a three percent annual increase stopped.
It will be now reviewed by the services committee.
