We are optimistic!

Businessmen are feeling optimistic after listening to the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for Bahrain’s growth.

Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Samir Nass said yesterday that the remarks of HRH Prince Salman about the government’s plans to strengthen partnership with the private sector have encouraged them to do more.

The Crown Prince and Prime Minister has sent a reassuring message to the business community about the leadership’s continuing support to enhance the private sector’s role as a key partner, he told our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej.

HRH Prince Salman noted that the private sector is playing a crucial role in driving growth across various sectors, during a meeting on Thursday.

Pointing out that businessmen will spare no effort in supporting the full economic development of Bahrain, Mr Nass said that the chamber has submitted a detailed economic study which could help the government in its financial plans.

Discussions are already ongoing to work out mechanisms to incorporate their study in the future financial roadmap, Mr Nass said.

First vice chairman Khalid Najibi said that HRH Prince Salman listened attentively to the challenges and difficulties faced by the business community.

“Despite all the current challenges, we are very optimistic about the future of economic development.”
