FCCIB, the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bahrain held the 6th edition of its annual Gala Dinner under the patronage of H.E. Mr. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce.
Mrs. Rim Jalali, FCCIB Executive Director, welcomed the distinguished guests of the Gala Dinner, among which were Ministers, Ambassadors, Business Leaders and Investors.
Mr. Jean-Christophe Durand, President of FCCIB highlighted FCCIB’s work towards developing economic and business ties between France and the Kingdom of Bahrain and thanked FCCIB members and FCCIB institutional partners for their continuous support.
H.E. Mr. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro stressed the Bahrain-France relations, especially in the commercial sector. He praised FCCIB’s role in consolidating bilateral efforts and encouraging investments in the private sector. The Minister of Industry and Commerce noted Bahrain’s continuous effort to adapt its economic systems and legislation to local and global economic conditions.
H.E. Mrs. Noor bint Ali Al Khulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development, commended the Chamber for championing sustainability and for choosing “sustainability” as the theme of the Gala Dinner. She underlined the facts that many of the individuals and companies attending the Gala Dinner have contributed significantly to the Kingdom's sustainability efforts.
H.E. Mr. Jérôme Cauchard, Ambassador of France to Bahrain, pointed up the interest and engagement of French companies in Bahrain as well as France’s attractiveness for Bahraini investors.
The guests have enjoyed a stunning performance featuring Opera star Fabienne Conrad accompanied by French Chamber’s Orchestra Artie’s.
