Visit of SULB Company's Plant
Mr. Pascal Genest, CEO of SULB Company had the pleasure to welcome FCCIB members on Tuesday 7th November, to visit SULB Company Plant in Hidd.
SULB STEEL is a joint venture between Foulath and Japan-based Yamato Kogyo. SULB has two rolling mills, one in KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) and one in Bahrain's Al-Hidd Industrial area and is a fully integrated producer from DRI to finished steel products.
SULB STEEL`s Bahrain-based facility, which is situated in Bahrain's Al-Hidd Industrial Area and consisting of a direct reduced iron (DRI) plant, a melt shop (MS) and a Heavy & Medium Section rolling mill (HSM). Bahrain Steel (BS) which is located within the same complex is the regular supplier of iron ore pellets.
SULB supplies to worldwide markets to stockholders and end-users.
The event started at 3:00 p.m. with a presentation of the company, its products and its history. It was followed by a guided visit headed of the plant by Mr. Pascal Genest and then, a networking reception.
FCCIB is grateful to Mr. Pascal Genest for his warm welcome to FCCIB members and very interesting tour of SULB Plant.
