US Inflation rate falls to lowest level since May 2021

New York, Apr.12 (BNA): The annual inflation rate in America fell last March to 5 percent, which is the lowest level since May 2021.

 

According to the latest indicators, the consumer price index rose on a monthly basis by 0.1 percent in March.

 

The core inflation rate, which excludes volatile energy and food prices, rose slightly in March to 5.6 percent on an annual basis, compared to 5.5 percent in February.
