Unanime new project: "A unique project in the world that ensures the visibility of the IARC institution with strength and sobriety"

After all the staff moved in to the new United Nation's Cancer research center, IARC Director Dr Elisabete Weiderpass spoke of the exciting new opportunities afforded to researchers by the cutting-edge facilities, and congratulated the Nouveau Centre project team on the success of the build and moving process. She thanked IARC’s French institutional partners on behalf of IARC and the entire cancer research community for their support for the project, with a special mention for the Métropole de Lyon, which oversaw construction over the past three years.

IARC Headquarters reflect the excellence and scientific expertise of this institution and bring its international reputation. It will reflect the rational and experimental intelligence essential in the field of health.
