Tourism Minister highlights women role in tourism
Manama, Mar. 22 (BNA): Tourism Minister Fatima bint Jaffar Al Sairafi affirmed the ministry keenness to encourage Bahraini women entrepreneurs and businesswomen to launch their tourism projects and investment.
The minister presented the objectives of the tourism strategy for the years (2022-2026), noting the endeavors to increase and enhance the presence of the Bahraini of both gender in the tourism sector.
She affirmed the ministry’s full readiness to provide the necessary capabilities to develop initiatives to support female entrepreneurs and businesswomen towards integration into the tourism sector.
Al Sairafi highlighted that the ministry is working on implementing a plan that includes a series of initiatives aimed at raising opportunities for empowering businesswomen by supporting local and international organizations interested in tourism.
