Top officials are appointed
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, issued an edict appointing seven directors at the Education Ministry as follows:
Shaikha Latifa bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Director of the Evaluation and Performance Department; Nader Muhammad Abdul Rahman Jamali, Director of the Department of Physical Education; Hamad Rashid Saad Al Amiri, Director of Services Department; Reem Abdo Fadel Ahmed Al Sanaei, Director of the Risk Assessment and Legal Affairs Department; Sahar Abdulmoneim Al Majthoub, Director of Curriculum Development and Policies Department; Fatima Mahdi Hussein Muhammad Ali, Director of Education Policies and Development Department; Halahel Jaafar Ali Naseeb, Director of the Community Partnership Department.
HRH Prince Salman issued another edict appointing Ameera Jaafar as Director of Human and Financial Resources Directorate, and Ameera Mohammed Hassan Al Balushi as Director of the National Examinations Directorate at the Education and Training Quality Authority.
He issued another edict restructuring the Council of Guardianship on the Money of the Minors and their Equivalents.
Chaired by the Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister, the panel comprises the following members who will serve a renewable two-year term; Redha Abdulla Faraj, Jassim Ahmed Al Mehza, Abduljalil Ali Ahmed Al Hayki, Dr Malallah Jaafar Al Hammadi, Faisal Abdulaziz Al Dosari, Dr Raed Ibrahim Al Jowder, Nusaiba Ahmed Al Madani and Mohammad AbdulKhaleq Al Dalawer.
The Crown Prince and Prime Minister issued another edict reconstituting a committee to follow up on the implementation of the National Plan for Energy Efficiency and the National Plan for Renewable Energy and their initiatives under the chairmanship of the Electricity and Water Affairs Minister.
Other members will be Under-Secretary of the Works Ministry, Assistant Under-Secretary for Domestic and Foreign Trade at the Industry and Commerce Ministry, Assistant Under-Secretary for Land Transport at the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry, Assistant Under-Secretary for Engineering Affairs at the Housing and Urban Planning Ministry, Vice-president for Planning and Projects at the Electricity and Water Authority, Director General of the Capital Municipality, Director of the Public Revenue Policy Department at the Finance and National Economy Ministry, Director of the Policy and Strategic Planning Department at the Oil and Environment Ministry, Director of Projects Department at the Prime Minister’s Office and head of the Environmental Planning Department at the Climate Change and Sustainable Development Department at the Supreme Council for the Environment.
Members of the council shall serve for a three-year term that can be renewed.
