Top medic lauds Bahrain's commitment in battle against Covid-19
“Bahrain is proud of what it has achieved in the face of the coronavirus pandemic,” said Health Ministry Under-Secretary Dr Walid Al Manea today.
He is addressing a Press conference of the National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (Covid-19) at the BDF Hospital.
“What has been accomplished is no less than the pandemic itself, as it is one of the biggest health challenges across the globe.
“Community participation hand in hand with efforts of the government helped us.”
Present are National Health Regulatory Authority chief executive Dr Mariam Al Jalahma, taskforce for monitoring committee head Lieutenant Colonel Dr Manaf Al Qahtani and taskforce member and Salmaniya Medical Complex Infectious and Internal Diseases consultant Dr Jameela Al Salman.
