Bahrain has, throughout its history, overcome all major challenges, His Majesty King Hamad has said.

The near future requires economic recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic which has hit the world, the King said as he received, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, a number of citizens from the Capital Governorate.

His Majesty reiterated his keenness to bolster national solidarity and praised the people of Bahrain for their long-standing generosity and kindness.

He praised the role of men and women in the Capital Governorate for their contribution to Bahrain’s development.

The King commended citizens for their dedication in serving their country and enhancing its standing.

Such meetings are important to reach out to citizens, the King said, adding that such gatherings stem from Bahrainis’ traditions and morals passed down the generations.

His Majesty separately received, at Sakhir Palace, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister and reviewed issues related to national development, in addition to developments unfolding in the region.

The King praised the fruitful efforts of HRH Prince Salman to serve Bahrain’s development and enhance the government’s work across all fields.

On the occasion of the new school year, the King wished students enrolled at public and private universities, schools, institutes and kindergartens every success.

He praised the fruitful efforts of the administrative and teaching staff affiliated with the Education Ministry, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
