The Prime Minister’s Office announces launch of the fourth edition of the “Fikra” competition
Following the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), today announces it will be receiving submissions for the 4th edition of the Government Innovation Competition, "Fikra", from 11 November until 1 December 2021.
“Fikra” aims to further develop government workstreams and promote a culture of creativity and innovation, in line with the principles of sustainability, competitiveness and fairness, outlined in Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030.
The competition reinforces the engagement of public sector employees in contributing to national development plans and initiatives, in line with the Kingdom's comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Fikra's prior successes have helped further improve government workstreams, providing the opportunity to enhance the Kingdom's modernisation and development process.
Participants may submit their ideas individually or in groups (with a maximum of 4 individuals per group), through the Prime Minister’s Office website on: www.pmo.gov.bh
Ideas should focus on ways to further develop government services or improve efficiency and performance.
After the submission deadline, the preliminary review phase and interviews will be conducted by the relevant members of the evaluation committee.
