Tender Board opens 16 bids

The Tender Board yesterday opened 16 bids related to six tenders for three purchasing authorities.

Four tenders were opened for Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority. The first tender was for appointing a market-based representative in Saudi Arabia. Two bids were received for this tender.

The second tender was for appointing a market-based representative’s office in Kuwait. Two bids were submitted for this tender. Four bids were submitted for the third tender on appointing market-based representative’s offices in India.

The fourth tender was for appointing market-based representative offices in the UK and Northern Ireland. Four bids were received.

One tender was opened for Tatweer Petroleum for the supply of Lufkin spares for five years, for which one bid was received.

One tender was opened for Bahrain Airport Company for Support Infrastructure for (BIA) Network and Communication Fibre Ring at Bahrain International Airport. Three applications were received.

The tender process was attended by representatives of the bidding companies.

The bids will be assessed on all technical and financial criteria before being awarded to the best candidates. Full details of all tenders opened are available on the Tender Board’s official website, tenderboard.gov.bh.
