Tamkeen resumes support schemes

MANAMA: Tamkeen has announced the gradual resumption of its flagship Business Support Programmes as part of efforts to support private sector institutions and develop human resources.

It will start receiving applications for the Business Development Programme, in its updated version, from Sunday.

Tamkeen chairman Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa said the support programmes have undergone improvements as part of a strategy the Labour Fund had announced at its recent consultative symposium which stressed the need to improve scheme flexibility and service performance standard, and encourage establishments to adopt more digital, innovative solutions to achieve further expansion and sustainability.
