Surprise checks at medical facilities

SURPRISE routine checks continued at healthcare facilities to ensure the safety of people.

The National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) announced that the checks were carried out to ensure that health safety procedures were being carried out at the facilities.

“The surprise checks were conducted to ensure the safety of patients and employees at the health facilities,” said NHRA chief executive Dr Mariam Al Jalahma in a statement yesterday.

“Procedures to ensure safety were done even before cases were announced in Bahrain.

“Routine checks will ensure the safety of all people at healthcare centres.”
