Supreme Council for Women launch national campaign

Manama: The Supreme Council for Women (SCW) has announced the launch of a national campaign in the Kingdom.

Titled 'Together for the safety of Bahrain', the initiative will be in direct coordination with the e-Volunteer platform, which has reported over 30,000 volunteer sign-ups so far.

The campaign follows directives from the wife of His Majesty the King and SCW president Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa.

A media campaign will also be used to highlight the strenuous efforts undertaken by the National Taskforce for Combating COVID-19.

Through films and video messages on social media platforms, the campaign aims at creating awareness and acts as an educational course of action to shed light on the great efforts taken by the national team responsible for fighting the disease.

The campaign welcomes the participation and contributions of official, private and civil society institutions and individuals who want to support these efforts aimed at reaching out to Bahraini families and meet their basic needs or provide services and consultations on how to adapt to new conditions which require precautionary measures.
