Support for development efforts praised

Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa yesterday praised co-operation between the executive and legislative branches in backing the development efforts and achieving the aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad.

He also commended continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The minister was speaking during a meeting with parliamentary committee for financial and economic affairs head Ahmed Saloom.

He stressed the need for continuous partnership between the executive and legislative branches to serve the nation and citizens.

They also discussed co-operation between Parliament and the Finance and National Economy Ministry as well as issues of common concern.

Mr Saloom expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the minister for his unflinching keenness to enhance co-operation between the executive branch and the legislature in order to achieve the desired goals.
