Social Development Minister stresses support to charitable societies
Manama, Jan. 18 (BNA): Social Development Minister Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor received Samaheej Islamic Centre Society Chairman Ammar Abdul Jalil Radhi.
The meeting discussed the activities of the society related to social responsibilities and its efforts to strengthen principles of charitable and humanitarian work.
The minister praised the development programs and activities, stressing the distinguished role played by the society in promoting social unity and devoting work values.
He also stressed the ministry's support for the efforts of charitable and voluntary societies and all civil society organizations, especially those that practice humanitarian work.
