SCW, Sustainable Development Ministry prepare to hold 17 Faces of Action Exhibition
Manama, Oct. 4 (BNA): Hala bint Mohammed Jaber Al Ansari, Secretary General of Supreme Council for Women (SCW), met with Noor bint Ali Al Khulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development and SCW member.
The meeting discussed the preparations for the upcoming Art and photography exhibition "17 Faces of Action", at the invitation of the United Nations (UN) Office at Geneva.
The exhibition will be held as part Bahraini Women’s Day celebrations this year.
The two sides will coordinate to organise the national event that aims to promote the role of women in sustainable development, the SCW's role in supporting Bahraini women in various sectors, and the efforts of civil society organisations to achieve the national sustainable development goals.
Bahrain has been selected as part of the UN exhibition to highlight women's role in achieving development goals at a national level.
The exhibition will feature the work of 17 Bahraini women photographers actively promoting the 17 sustainable development goals to demonstrate the impact of their participation and contributions to society.
