Saudi minister says COVID-19 deaths, critical cases in kingdom among world's lowest
Riyadh: Saudi Health Minister Dr Tawfiq Al-Rabiah affirmed that Saudi Arabia is among the lowest in the world with its coronavirus mortality rate and number of critical cases, indicating that this is due to the high level of medical care.
He explained that the increasing number of cases is a result of widespread testing, adding that laboratory capacity has been increased to three times more than what it was at the beginning of the pandemic.
He reiterated that the ministry has expanded testing in all of the Kingdom’s regions.
