Saudi Arabia issues decision to protect workers, fine violators
RIYADH — The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi has approved adding a paragraph to the table of violations and penalties, and the decision was published in the official gazette on Friday.
The decision stipulates imposing a fine of SR10,000 for not complying with the ministry’s decisions and regulations issued to organize the extraordinary circumstances.
The SR10,000 fine will be multiplied by the number of instances and workers.
Informed sources close to the Ministry told Alarabiya that the decisions aims to protect employees in the private sector from arbitrary sacking from their jobs, with implementation of the precautionary measures.
