Safe Bahrain-UAE 'travel corridor'

Bahrain and the UAE have established a safe travel corridor for those who have been vaccinated against Covid-19.

It will enable people to travel between the two countries without needing to quarantine upon arrival, starting from the first day of Eid Al Fitr, according to a joint statement by the two countries.

Citizens and residents wishing to benefit from the exemption in both countries will be required to show that they have received a final dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

This will be done through the approved applications or certificates issued by both sides, which include the BeAware app in Bahrain and the AlHosn application in the UAE.

Moreover, passengers can also save their PCR test results on the two apps.

The strategic partnership between the UAE and Bahrain is important to address and overcome the Covid-19 crisis, added the statement.
