Royal support made youth innovations robust approach to civilizational achievements: Speaker
The support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has made youth innovations, creativity and excellence a robust approach to civilizational achievements that contributed to Bahrain's progress and prosperous future, Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal has said.
The Speaker also commended the efforts of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in supporting Bahraini youth programs and projects.
Zainal who was speaking on the International Youth Day marked this year under the theme of "Transforming Food Systems: Youth Innovation for Human and Planetary Health" highlighted Bahrain's efforts in food security, supporting youth innovations, and harnessing all potentials to invest in promising youth competencies and motivate them to contribute actively to the nation-building process.
The Speaker praised the efforts and initiatives of HM the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
She also hailed the success of the Hope Fund to support youth projects and initiatives in line with royal vision for the progress of Bahraini youth and providing appropriate means of support.
Zainal highlighted the role of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, in supporting Bahraini youth, and actively contributing to the outstanding achievements in local and international participations.
