Ramadan utility bills reprieve call
Bahrainis could be exempt from paying for water and electricity usage during Ramadan if MPs get their way.
MPs unanimously approved an urgent proposal, presented by five MPs led by Yousif Al Thawadi, which aims to reduce expenses during the holy month, which starts in April.
Parliament also wants the gesture extended to every year. It will be now reviewed by the Cabinet.
