Ramadan tomorrow

The directors and staff of the GDN extend their best wishes to His Majesty King Hamad, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the people of Bahrain and the Muslim world on Ramadan, which begins tomorrow.

The moon-sighting panel announced that Thursday will be the first day of the holy month, based on the sighting of the crescent in Saudi Arabia.

The panel, which met yesterday at the headquarters of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, added that it had not received any testimonies.
