Programmes to support Bahraini youth praised

Youth Affairs Minister Rawan Tawfiqi has expressed appreciation to the sponsors of Youth City 2030 for their keenness to establish a partnership with the ministry to support programmes and initiatives.

She also said their backing confirms the strategy of those companies and institutions and their active role in creating the ideal environment for Bahraini youth to gain more experience and training to enter the labour market with full capacity.

Ms Tawfiqi made the remarks as she accompanied several sponsors of Youth City 2030 programmes and toured its centres.

They were briefed on the objectives of the programme which aims to provide training opportunities that enhance Bahraini youth’s skills and talent.

The sponsors were also briefed on the Youth City 2030 centres, which focus on leadership and entrepreneurship, media and entertainment, arts and culture, science and technology, sports, and health.

The sponsors expressed their appreciation for the role played by the Youth Affairs Ministry in supporting Bahraini youth to discover, refine and highlight their talents in various fields, pointing to the importance of Youth City 2030 as one of the distinguished initiatives that simulate the future of youth and contribute to their training.

They stressed their keenness to support programmes and events that benefit youth.
