The minister valued highly the dedicated national efforts of Team Bahrain, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, citing the health, social and economic decisions it has taken in favour of the citizens and residents, which, he said, has earned the kingdom international acclaim.

He affirmed that all health guidelines recommended by the National Medical Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus are strictly implemented by NOGA and its companies, including temperature measuring of all staff and visitors, mandatory wearing of masks, activation of distant work whenever possible, formation of support groups, periodic disinfection of all facilities, medical check-ups for employees, the provision of isolation facilities and carrying out awareness-raising campaigns to limit the spread of the virus.

He affirmed that the leaders’ great interest in the oil sector has contributed to its remarkable progress, and success in maintaining its role as the main contributor to the national economy, citing the mega oil projects being implemented across the kingdom in cooperation with world oil companies.
