No PCR test needed to enter Bahrain for vaccinated travellers

ahrain has announced new regulations relating to Covid-19 will be implemented from Eid al-Fitr.

PCR tests won't be needed for anyone arriving in Bahrain who has been vaccinated, or for anyone who has recovered from the virus.

Anyone landing in the Kingdom must download the BeAware app and upload their vaccination certificate to it.

The guideline change was announced by the Government Executive Committee, the National Medical Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus.

In the same statement, Bahraini authorities announced residents must be vaccinated (or have recovered from cornoavirus) to access the following areas: Indoor dining services, indoor gymnasiums, indoor swimming pools, cinemas, spas, indoor children play leisure centres, indoor events and conference halls, and fan attendance at sporting events.

The country reported 1,020 cases yesterday (April 6) among its 1.6 million population. Bahrain’s Ministry of Health breaks down where each case came from, with only 32 cases coming from travel-related sources.
